Wind Mitigation Inspections

A wind mitigation inspection evaluates 7 specific areas of a home to determine how your home will handle high wind events:
1) The Building Code under which the house was built
2) The Roof Covering (Age and type)
3) The roof deck attachment (decking type, size and spacing of nails)
4) The roof to wall attachment (toe-nail, clips, straps, etc.)
5) Roof geometry (hip, flat, other)
6) Secondary Water Barrier SWR (secondary roof)
7) Opening protection type
